i'm sorry for keeping you all in suspense for so long!
our son was born alive and healthy -a few days after his due date- after a relatively short, very intense labour, weighing over 8lb.
he is beautiful and we are so, so in love with him. and we cannot believe how lucky we are.
i need to write more, but it will be a while. i can't get my head around anything at the mo, but i had to let you all know that he is ok.
thank you all for your support during my pregnancy. i couldn't have done it without you all.

CONGRATS!!!!!!! (And so sorry I am so late in commenting here.) I've been thinking about you a lot, knowing your sweet baby must be here by now. So looking forward to hearing more about your son, when you have time (which may be never, so give us a little snippet when you find a spare moment). :)
Oh yeah - and I'd love to hear how the mei tai works out for you! I learned about those recently and have been slightly obsessed about watching for a used one on Craig's List and Ebay, but can't quite justify buying another carrier...unless I hear how wonderful they are from someone I know rather than a review on the internet. :) And I know there are different versions out there. This babywearing thing is complicated!
